Hey folks!

I´m glad to announce that we will have a Design Weekend in Sarpsborg, Norway on September 5-7. Photographer and organizer Marius Wallin and I will perform a 2 1/2 day workshop on Photoshop and Cinema 4D. So here is what we will do:

Friday: Warm up session with Marius Wallin.
Of course you work with layer masks, correction layers and clipping masks. But maybe it is a good idea to refresh all that stuff. The session is free of charge for those who book eather the saturday or sunday workshop.

Saturday: Photoshop magic lighting workshop. 
– the truth about brushes: You learn how to load, shape and jitter them.
– painting light: We create a whole new light architecture.
– building shadows: How to create realistic shadows with levels and layer masks.
– masking the unmaskable: You learn how to mask real hairy stuff.
– the look: Why a look is far more then a bit of color and some contrast.

Sunday: Cinema 4D basics for beginners.
– viewport and managers: The four center parts of C4D and what they do.
– modelling with procedural objects: use cubes and spheres to build your first scene.
– multiply your power: Learn how to extrude polygones.
– Splines: aka paths. Import them from Illustrator!
– materials, light and rendering: basics that get you started!

In both workshops we will develop a great image! That means you will not only learn some new techniques, but also how these techniques interlock to produce a cool, emotional scene.
